Now Up For A Trade: Item A2
I adopted this item. And it's a book, not a paperclip...
This is the one red paperclip book Kyle MacDonald wrote about his legendary trade up from a paperclip to a house.
Not only that, this is the North American print edition - the UK/Ireland edition has the title written all over the front - and it has Kyle's signature/autograph/scrawl inside the cover.
I sort of "won" it a few months ago, by replying to an email quickly. And since I got it for nothing, it qualifies to be an adopted item...
Now that I have read it, which I did mostly on aeroplanes so it took me a while, I think it's maybe time for someone else to enjoy it.
And yes, I do recommend it.
And finally yes, I did ask Kyle to make sure he supported the idea, and he came back with "sure man - trade away!".
Oh and finally finally... Trade 14 Jody Gnant, who did the tenth one red paperclip trade with Kyle, also signed this book, in the Peppino Restaurant in Amsterdam...
