Dot Dot Dot
So I met up with someone local to me in Ireland recently about a possible trade. Definitely a potential interesting trade. We'll see...
And there's a trade should be happening in October I'm well excited about...
And watch out for llamas getting involved soon!! It's possible...
And a journalism student wants to do a radio interview with me soon, though I'm not sure it would be broadcast, so a "radio" interview maybe...

Speedy Superstar!
So here is latest printed press splash on trading nothing...

I am now, almost as I write this even, looking at working out a Speedy the llama trade of some sort. I think he has to be become officially involved in a trade in some way. Because that could clear up a lot of confusion now and in the future I think, about whether or not Speedy is or was legally or otherwise a trading nothing item...
So more on that very soon I hope!
And I hope I didn't just create yet more confusion.
Yes, that is one whistle.
No, I do not own Speedy the llama at this time.

People Of Warrington...
Let's trade!
I still have the one and only one whistle which I would like to trade for something... something at least as good as this fish pen!
And I want to trade the whistle up to an island - e.g. something like this would be a pretty good result!
I also have some special requests, so I would like to trade some or even all of my items up for a trade for things like...
- a car or van - anything with tax and MOT considered!
- llama (or similar) fibre!!
- a boat with an outboard motor for pottering around a lake!!!
And of course I would like... a Rolls Royce or a Bentley car!!!!
If you want to give me a shout, I can be reached here.

Vote for Lynda! Now!
Lynda Cookson, who gave me six of her brilliant paintings for Tommy Cooper Rex in Trade 7, very politely requested me to register a vote to help her increase her profile in the UK.
So of course I obliged - 10 out of 10 from me! for this painting...

And you can help her too! By voting at the following link before this Monday August 13 (it's easy, no registration or any such nonsense)...

In case you hesitated, Lynda really is a really really nice person.
So today was a day of non-events for me.
First, I bought the weekly local newspaper in the morning only to find that trading nothing is not, after all, a local story this week. So maybe next week...
And then, this evening I set off with my housemate Chris to this Bentley cars lecture... only we were exactly two months early! I'd better not say whose fault it was. It might well have been Chris's, but I'm not saying.
So I didn't get the opportunity to try to swap one whistle for a Bentley.
Surely all I would have needed to do was hypnotise the Bentley guys and then...
Ah well.

I saw someone was giving away a canoe/kayak today, advertised in my local supermarket, and five minutes walk later I was there!
The owner told me he built it himself 30 years ago, with three layers of fibreglass where two would have done etc etc...
I told him I don't want it for nothing, and explained I wanted to do a swap for my Internet trading up adventure.
Turned out he wasn't into the Internet, wasn't into someone taking it away and not using it...
So that was that.
Would have been an awful lot of fun to put up for a trade IMHO - never mind!
I hope I stumble upon another free kayak or something else equally fun somewhere and actually trade something for it.

Just Got Up Super Early...
... I wanted to tell you the next trade is not lined up yet.
Don't panic!! - quite a few strong possibilities for the near future I think, the wait shouldn't be tooooo long...

It's Official!
The Decade Old Film has now been officially re-termed, which is I hope is an official word, the Decayed Old Film.
I consulted, or more accurately offered to trade my decade old Kodak film with, a professional photographer today.
His reaction?
Well, close to laughter and disbelief at the same time I would say. He explained the chemical processes that happen to an unused film roll over time in great detail, covering every angle as pro photographers do, and the upshot was this film has had it (even though I didn't much grasp the chemistry reactions bit I have to say).
So maybe I should withdraw the Decayed Old Film. Or maybe I should just attach a clear warning. Yeah, I think I'll do that, because I still think there is probably someone out there wants to give it a go.
So this photographer took about four snaps of me with just the one trading nothing item before he got the shot he was happy with, to be included in a newspaper story soon, probably next Thursday I understand...
Stay tuned.
