It's probably someone's birthday somewhere today, so it's as good a time as any to report on a birthday trade.
Trader Cindy Gomez (follow @cindy__gomez on twitter!) is an amazing talent. If you didn't know that already, I have some proof...
Here she is singing "La Vie en Rose" in French...
And here she is working an enormous stage live, with Dave Stewart...
And again live with Dave Stewart, and Ann Marie Calhoun on violin...
Watch out for Cindy's debut album, she's working on it now and it'll be released probably "late 2010 early 2011"... I just wish she'd hurry it along! But never mind...
I already had a trade in motion with one of Cindy's collaborators Dave Stewart (actually it's still in motion! yes Dave's still waiting for me... but that's another story) and I was thinking more or less these exact words: "wouldn't it make a great trade, Cindy singing the 'Happy Birthday' song to someone?"
So I asked Cindy... and Cindy was excited about doing such a trade...
So we had a deal!
No wait there's something missing. Cindy agreed to do a trade before we had sorted out what she would get from me. No problem!
Pretty soon Christine Taylor's two excellent original collectible artworks "Summer Day" and "Misty" were in the post to Cindy in Los Angeles.
And once they were safely in Cindy's hands, Trade 36 became an official trading nothing trade.
